A little confession about us, is that we both have a large sweet tooth, Alex a little more than myself. While down in San Diego, we stopped by a gourmet dessert restaurant called Extraordinary Desserts. The place was packed with people waiting to be seated so they could enjoy their famous desserts. While waiting, you’re able to browse the display cases of beautifully presented, extraordinarily delicious, desserts.
Use the sheet of paper provided to note your top 3 choices. Done incase your top 1 or 2 dessert choices run out by the time you are seated (just to give you an idea of how delicious they really are.) The waiter/waitress will bring you your top choice from this list, based on availability. Not only does Extraordinary have a wide variety of scrumptious sweets, but also an extensive list of tea’s, alcoholic beverages, soups/salads/snacks & sandwiches.
We ordered the Flourless Chocolate Cake, along with the Birthday Cake Tea. The desserts are definitely big enough to share, but if you’re at all like me, you don’t share your desserts either. Next time you’re in the Downtown SD area, make sure to stop by Little Italy and try Extraordinary Desserts. You will definitely be impressed. Eat up & pinky out!
