Petersen Automotive Museum

I’ve always been a car fanatic. The way they look & sound. The way they move; allowing us the ability to explore so incredibly freely. It’s the creation of adventure, excitement & thrill that drives my love of cars. The Petersen Auto Museum has one incredible collection of vehicles. Check out the pictures of some of our favorites!

Nhu enjoyed quite a few of the cars, especially from the Hollywood Gallery. Dom’s 1971 Dodge Charger R/T (Fast & Furious 7), Walt’s Pontiac Aztek (Breaking Bad), the DeLorean DMC-12 time machine (Back to the Future), & the 20-foot long Batmobile were among a few that caught her attention. My favorite, would have to be the 1957 Ferrari Testa Rossa. Although, the entire Precious Metal collection was absolutely incredible. I was excited to see Ken Block’s Gymkhana III Ford Fiesta included at the museum, and enjoyed getting an up close view of such an amazing & unique machine.

We had a blast racing our 2017 Ford GT’s (on display just around the corner) through the Forza racing simulator at the museums Forza racing simulator exhibit. After 3 hours of drooling, and 30 minutes of race adrenaline, Nhu & I decided to get out and explore a bit more of the surrounding area. Excited to be in LA, we walked across the street to the La Brea Tar Pits. The Tar Pits themselves are just fascinating! We then ventured up to The Original Farmers Market on 3rd & Fairfax, and discovered The Grove. So many new experiences, and such a memorable day!
